Thirdly, live daily in His GRACE. Because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross, God no longer judge us by our ability to keep His laws. Many Christians do not realise that they are already set free from the bondage of the law and they continue to live under it. They will soon give up because they could not measure up to the standards required of them. They get spiritually burnt-out and wearied by the constant demands of the misguided Christian conscience. God’s grace sets us free from the demands of the law. We are set free from religion of legalism into a love relationship with God.

"The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent His own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us." (Rom 8:3-4)

Secondly, ask for the EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT for every endeavour whether in business or in relationships. Challenges in life and businesses are often impossible to handle by human wisdom and God’s supernatural power is absolutely necessary in many situations. How do you fight against relationship problems, depression and mental torment, sicknesses, terminal illnesses, contagious diseases or marital issues? Many of these cannot be resolved through natural ways but through the supernatural power of God. We must daily acknowledge and be reliant on the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. I want to share with you seven (7) keys to a powerful and fruitful Christian life that have worked for me:

Firstly, believe that GOD IS THE ARCHITECT OF YOUR LIFE and He has a wonderful plan or blueprint for a good future for you. God has all the resources (finance and manpower) that are required to bring that about, so our part is to daily turn our eyes to Him. Wait daily for His supply and the outpouring of His resources.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11)

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

WE ARE A POWERHOUSE

Dear Church,

I am sharing some prophecies that are flowing out of the dawn prayer gatherings so that those who are unable to make it will be able to partake of

the blessings as well. We have just passed the half-way mark of this 40-Day Fasting and Prayer and we are really enjoying a wonderful outpouring of anointed and spirit-led prayer for ourselves, the church and the nation.

One recurring prophetic theme that seems to flow out of the Dawn Prayer gatherings is ‘Power’.

Just a couple of mornings ago, on the way to the dawn prayer, while driving along Section 14/61, Sis Vivienne saw what look

ed like three thick power cable pylons from the sky coming down the perimeter of our church. It appeared to her suddenly and in a blink of an eye, the vision was gone. She was dazed by what she saw and the word she felt as a result of the vision is ‘Power’. This confirmed the Lord's declaration to us that No: 8, Jalan 227 is a ‘Powerhouse’.

Folks, God visits the church that prays. Jim Cymbala of the world renowned Brooklyn Tabernacle said, "The history of the Church in the book of Acts proves that the secret of dynamic power, glorious witness and the very direction of important church affairs all came from God responding to a people who prayed and waited in His Presence."

He further said that our Christian journey to maturity ought to lead us to new depths of prayer and heart revelations of the Lord.

The Lord is hearing all our cries and prayers in the mornings. One sister saw a vision of antennae from Heaven facing downwards ‘receiving’ all the prayers being sent upwards. The prayer bowls in the hands of angels are being filled and they are being tipped over to powerful and miraculous answers to our prayers.

As one brother prayed, the Lord showed him a vivid vision of God seated on His throne like a judge, dressed in white and His right hand was holding a sceptre. Both His eyes are gold in color.

Folks, every injustice in the land is seen by our Lord and He is ruling over our nation and His justice will be established. Our prayers are truly bringing about a powerful impact of the heavenly kingdom upon Malaysia.

Sister Shela wrote, "As I was praying the Spirit of God revealed to me to enter into the fullness of his grace and mercy, fullness of his healing, fullness of spirit". The word fullness keeps coming back and I would like to encourage everyone to enter into the fullness of glory, into the fullness of all that he has in store for us to be the

"Power House for God."

On Wednesday morning, Bro. Gary Goh shared a simple illustration of how his daughter often kisses his cheeks and forehead with love and this is the ministry that we are offering to our Lord daily. Many are enjoying the tangible presence of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. The Father looks upon us with great delight and pleasure when He sees His children gathering to seek His face the first thing in the morning.

Church, Grace and I have been praying daily for your protection against the H1N1. The Lord bless you and surround you with His shield of favour and protection. Daily claim this privilege as His children against all forms of sicknesses and diseases. Your prayers are powerful in the Name of Jesus. Walk in boldness and not in fear. Knowing that God loves us unconditionally will cast out any form of fear from your lives.

About 2 weeks ago, early morning of Sunday. I had a dream. This dream is the ever first time I saw Grace and Ps Ron in it. The dream begins ...

"I was in a moving vehicle when suddenly I saw Grace and Ps Ron was in another bus(seem like converted from a lorry). Grace was the driver and Ps Ron was the navigator and the bus was packed with people. Ps Ron was busy talking and ushering those passengers to take their seat as the bus will depart shortly and Grace was cheerfully being the driver. I was shocked and quite amazed Grace can drive a bus!! Super!!

The bus pull alongside my vehicle and both the vehicle was driving to same direction.
Then suddenly I was having a helicopter viewing from the sky, I was sitting in a real helicopter. I saw huge crowds was usher by people to sit in groups in an open area like big field. The crowds was so huge until countless. Their skin colour seem dark. Then the dream ended and I woke up."

One of the focus of our dawn prayer has been against the H1N1 pandemic especially in our nation of Malaysia. Here is a vision from one of the sisters:

"As we were praying on Monday morning, I saw a figure dressed like in a robe and it was holding a large sickle. It has no face and all I can see is it is black. It looked like the angel of death. Just as it was about to swing the sickle I saw doves, white doves in fact attacking this figure.so that this figure was unable to use the sickle. As the prayer became intense, more doves came at the figure making it go backwards until it was lifted up by their left and right arm up towards the sky by the doves. Then I saw a whole picture like looking from afar where there were more of the same figures being lifted up on both left and right arm by many white doves up to the sky The whole sky was filled with these images." I heard the following words that said Jesus has done it all . Continue to trust in me"

RM18,000 raised from charity event handed to association

LONPAC Insurance, one of the country’s leading general insurance companies, initiated a charity golf tournament held at the Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah in Shah Alam to raise funds for Sri Eden Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Welfare Association recently.

About 120 participants, comprising Lonpac Insurance management team, business partners, clients, agents and motor policyholders, took to the greens.

Sri Eden is a non-government organisation catering to the needs of children with learning difficulties such as autism, Down Syndrome, mental retardation and cerebral palsy.

About RM18,000 was raised from the championship.

An additional RM3,000 was also raised through cash donations from the participants. Lonpac Insurance adviser Tee Choon Yeow handed over the donation to Sri Eden president Ron Hee.

The donation to Sri Eden will be used for their critical individualised education plans for the children.

This individualised education plan is set up due to the varying conditions of the children which include trained teachers, specialised equipment and teaching aid.

The number of deaths in Malaysia due to Influenza A(H1N1) rose to 38 today with 270 new cases reported in one day, bringing the total to 2253. This is causing much anxiety and fear in many folks as this pandemic sweeps the nation without respect for the rich or the famous. The newspaper reported that the consort of the Regent of Pahang and her five children have also contracted H1N1 as well as the Costa Rican President Oscar Arias. As deep darkness cover the nation, Christians must shine. Christians must not walk in fear but in trust. Trust in the perfect love of God. Trust in the Name of the Lord Jesus who is our refuge and our fortress. We dwell under the safe shelter of His wings.

FAITHFUL TO OUR CALLING UNTIL THE VERY END

Watched a rerun of the movie Titanic with my family. My favorite scene was the 4-piece string band playing beautiful, soothing music on the deck while others were frantically scrambling for their lives. When the end was imminent, the leader of the band thanked the group and told them how it was an honor to have played together with them. As his group members walked away to join the rest of the passengers to look for a lifeboat, the leader of the band remained and started playing on his own. Hearing that, the three members turned back and joined their leader and they played on. What a depiction of devotion, faithfulness and dedication to the task and fierce loyalty to one another!!.

I was glad to read that this scene was real and not made up just for the movie. Harold Bride, the Titanic junior wireless operator who survived gave eyewitness account in his interview with the New York Times, "The way the band kept playing was a noble thing. I heard it first while we were still working the wireless, when there was a ragtime tune for us, and the last I saw of the band, when I was floating out in the sea with my lifebelt on, it was still on the deck playing 'Autumn'. How they ever did it, I can't imagine"

On 24th June i had a vision of Jesus and myself in a garden. There was a small tree which began to grow big and as it grew, the Lord put me on His shoulder so that i can touch the heights of the tree. I saw a good fruit and i wanted to pluck it but the Lord cautioned me "No human tampering." So i let go of my hand in obedience and know what, that tree became a masterpiece! I guess the Lord is still working on this. On the days that followed, other prophetic words came "I will set the pace for you and will expand My truths within you."
Today during staff devotion the Lord reminded me that as we stay consecrated to Him, He will open the Red Sea and we can pass thru. He will work wonders in our midst. Pr. Ron also shared that in the life of Abraham who tried to run ahead of God and ended up in a mess because he tried to depend on his human effort. Sometimes God in His mercy and wisdom wants us to bring our vision before Him and allow it to "die" before He can do a complete and thorough work in us. There is a compelling demonstration of the work of the Holy Spirit to do that in us as we consecrate ourselves to Him. After all He is the Potter and we the clay. Amen

How do I know if I'm doing my work for the Lord?

Two characteristics will show up in your attitude: excellence and enthusiasm.

First, if I'm doing my work, not for the boss but for the Lord, I'll do it with excellence. That means I give it my best shot—I do the best I can because I'm not doing it for anyone's approval, except God's. I do it with excellence, being the best I can be.

Second, I do my work with enthusiasm. I'm working for God, therefore, I do it with a cheerful attitude. "Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically" (Romans 12:11 NLT).When you are working with all your heart, motivated by the love of Christ, your work is transformed into an act of worship for God.

PREPARE FOR ENLARGEMENT

For a new door of opportunity shall be opened before your eyes. Too long, too long, too long…the place where you dwelt - too long. It's not a physical expression but a spiritual expression. Its time to breakthrough. Time to ENLAAARRRGE your tents! Stretch forth! Father, in the name of Jesus, bless, bless, bless. The horn of the oil! Even as of old, Samuel took a horn and he poured it upon the servant David and I declare unto you that even as David knew a level and a degree of expansion of anointing that I should take the horn of oil of my ability, my presence, my anointing and I shall express it through your thoughts, hearts and minds and you shall grow with great authority, greater anointing and you shall rise as a commander of the Lord’s house.
You shall inspire the minds, the spirits and the hearts of my people to rise to greater heights. For it’s being said through your lips, that "The Best is yet to come"- that good things are going to happen. And the spirit of the Lord shall cause your words and experience to correspond and you shall bring growth and enlargement and expansion to the house.
The horn of His presence, the oil shall touch your eyes, to bless, to protect, to shepherd, to encourage His people. You shall protect them from the wild beasts of field. The touch of His presence is over your lives because of the hunger, because of the thirst, of the great shepherd concern. Not like a Saul but like a David that shall protect the people, from the heat of the sun, protect them from the elements, place a wall of protection around their lives. This is the day I shall touch and expand you.

One of my dreams is to have a piece of land where we can care for children with learning disabilities (autistic, adhd, dyslexia ec), the orphans and the elderly etc. The land should be nicely landscaped and green and the atmosphere should be warnth and caring because these special ones are God's creation and they should be properly cared for. For a start, New Life has a centre in Cheras, Sri Eden, which is a centre for Children with learning disabilities. We are thankful to the Lord that we have some very dedicated and passionate qualified teachers who are serving these children with much love and personal attention. I paid a visit to the centre the other day and took some pictures of these children in their classrooms. PARENTS' APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

We combined the Mothers' and Fathers' Day celebrations and organised a Parents' Appreciation Luncheon at the Oriental Restaurant in Jaya 33, to provide our church folks an opportunity to honor their parents' the traditional way- tea ceremony! Many heart-felt and appreciative words were written and spoken to the parents. It was so good to see the parents and the children connecting. Grace and I were especially touched by our son, Nicholas, who was in tears as he read his appreciation to us. That in itself was priceless.

I shared a short message on how the Bible commanded Christians to honor their parents and obedience to this command comes with the promise of long life and prosperity in the land (Ex 20:12; Deu 5:16). Non-Christian parents need not be concerned that their children will not be filial to them when they become Christians. I also told them that embracing Christianity is not embracing a foreign religion as the Chinese civilization is so much older than the West and many Chinese characters contain Biblical imagery. This tells us that the Chinese knew about the Christian God even before the West.

Grace and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary recently at the beautiful Pangkor Laut Resort. The great service, gourmet food and the spa and massage made us feel truly pampered. This holiday was like another honeymoon for us (hee...hee..), but certainly much better this time in so many ways because our love for each other has grown deeper and richer because we faced so many challenges together through these 25 years that have made us appreciate and grateful for each other. Grace is truly my lucky star. Without her love, encouragement and belief, I would not have done or become who I am today. I am so thankful for her. With wonderful children like Sarah and Nicholas and with such a great church family, I could not have asked for more. I just want to thank God for everything.

It's only as we become open about our lives that we experience authentic fellowship. The Bible says, "If we live in the light, as God is in the light, we can share fellowship with each other..." (1 John 1:7-8 NCV). It happens when people get honest about who they are and what is happening in their lives. They share their hurts, reveal their feelings, confess their failures, disclose their doubts, admit their fears, acknowledge their weaknesses, and ask for help and prayer. Of course, being authentic requires both courage and humility. It means facing our fear of exposure, rejection, and being hurt again. Why would anyone take such a risk? Because it's the only way to grow spiritually and be emotionally healthy. The Bible says, "Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed" (James 5:16 MSG)- Adapted from Rick Warren's Devotional

At the time of writing, the H1N1 virus or Swine Flu has nearly reached pandemic proportions.
11 countries are already affected and nearly 300 people are confirmed cases. In times like this, it is good to return to the word of God and know that God's people do not need to fear.

God has assured His people that He is our hiding place, our strong tower, our refuge and our fortress.
When we put our trust in the Lord, He will shield us, protect us, hide us and deliver us from any plague.

Ps Chris Leong, Ps Richard Toh and I did the fifth LPPKN (Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara) Smartstart Program Praperkahwinan at the Tropicana Golf Club. So far we have taken more than 50 couples through this pre-marital program which is highly subsidized by the Government. The couples only pay RM60 which include materials and two buffet meals and one tea break. The Cantonese will say 'ho die'- very worth it. Last Saturday, Grace and I invited Hana, Pastor Patrick, Bee Long and one of Grace' work colleagues, Ron Renten to a performance of the Malaysian Philharmonic. This is maybe my fifth time to the MPO and I continue to be fascinated by the wonderful music that comes from such perfect synchronisation and harmony from an orchestra of violins, drums, tubas, flutes, cellos, bassoons, horn etc (thanks to Hana, I can at least identify some of them). We listened to the 1911 Russian revolution through music. It was a treat!!

On Tuesday night, I joined Grace as she hosted SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) managers from all over the world for a dinner cruise around the Putrajaya Lake. The buffet catered by Shangri-la was nice and the mood and conversation was relaxing. It was an enjoyable experience as we went on the deck after dinner to take in the night scenes around the lake. At the end of the cruise, one thing I told myself is to read up on PutraJaya so that I will be more knowledgeable when taking visitors there. This is the pride and joy of the nation and I need to be conversant on it.

I am not a 'FUN' person so this will be one of my personal goals this year.
I also want to help our church folks enjoy church and also serve with joy and happiness.

BE A GREAT COMMISSION CHRISTIAN

Dear Church,

Do you realize that God is a missionary and he expects us all to be a missionary in one form or another?

He left the comfort of His throne in heaven and came to earth in order to save us. This is the extent of His great love for us.

Today is Missions Sunday. This Sunday is especially dedicated to give every New Lifer an opportunity to be a 'missionary' whether in kind, in encouragement and prayer or being part of a missions' team to another nation.

Blessing nations is one of the three vision statements of our church and I encourage every one of us to be part of it. The harvest truly is plenteous as we approach the Day of the Lord.

Rick Warren wrote, "More and more people need to find the Lord as their lives are being embroiled with the conflicts happening in every nation all over the world. People are most receptive to God when they are under tension or in transition. Because the rate of change is increasing in our world, more people are open to hearing the good news now than ever before."Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it" (Habakkuk 1:5 NLT)

These are excellent opportunities for us to touch the nations and because of your participation, New Life is touching nations- in our own nation of Malaysia, in India, China, Thailand, Russia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Australia etc.

The Gospel of the Lord is doing exciting things all over the world.

"This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives..." (Colossians 1:6 NLT).

Plan and save up for a mission trip this year. One mission trip can do more to boost your christian faith than many sermons. Your heart will be enlarged and you will experience the reality of God.

Church, Let’s be a Great Commission Christian and link hands together to touch the nations for the Lord.

Dear Folks,

Welcome to New Life!

We hope today will be the beginning of the best days of your life!

Those of you who know me know that I am a Rick Warren and a Rick Joyner fan. The former helps me with pastoral/apostolic wisdom and the latter with prophetic insights. A few days ago, I managed to catch Larry King's interview with Rick Warren on CNN.

In one segment, RW spoke about how, even in this challenging economic climate, everyone of us still needs three things: to find meaning in life, connections in relationships and relief in our stressed-up life and that is why churches and places like bars and movie theatres will continue to be popular.

Man is made for relationships and of course, we all know that true connections can only be found, not in a casual chat in a bar over a drink but in relationships that are genuine because we care for one another. We hope you will find it here in New Life.

I like good movies. I watched the movie Slumdog Millionaire with my daughter just before she left for Australia to do her final year of her studies. For those of you who saw it, you will know what I mean when I say there is one toilet scene that gave much 'relief'' to my disgust!

All of us know that relief derived from a movie is ok for two hours and when we come out of the theatre, we are once again faced with the unresolved issues in our lives.

If you are looking for relief that is permanent, I have good news for you. The Easter sermon this morning will help you discover the true source of relief and provide you the answer to the challenges in your life right now and to great security and hope for the future.

GOD IS TOUCHING HEARTS AT NEW LIFE

These last couple of weeks have brought much gladness to my heart to see the Lord touching different ones so tangibly that they(and we) can't help but be emotional.

Grace and I were talking to a new believer two weeks ago and we were simply amazed at the transformation that has came over her. One day she was utterly frustrated at her 'naughty' children and the next (after accepting the Lord), she was filled with love for them and instead of yelling and screaming at them, she now speaks to them with much gentleness and patience. Even the folks in her house (her mom-in-law and husband) are looking at her with disbelief. She told us that she now goes to sleep with so much joy in her heart and she just could not keep the tears from flowing out.

I saw another new believer last Sunday hugging her sister and friends with tears in her eyes and with so much joy.... just before she got baptized. The sister that she brought to church, just to witness the baptism, committed her life to Jesus at the morning service and I am sure the tears were both for her sister as well as for herself for the privilege of following the Lord in the step of obedience.

After the service, i was shaking hands with three sisters in the Life-Cafe and two of them had just recently given their hearts to the Lord because they saw the miracles that God did in their father who recently went for a triple bypass surgery. The signs of God's wonder were too clear for them to deny the reality of Christ and they had no hesitation to give their lives to the Lord.

Many of us heard Sis Judy's teary and emotional testimony of how Jesus gave her strength to overcome the many challenges and burdens in her life. She has finally found what she has been looking for all her life....

I was at the baptism pool side hugging the different baptism candidates as they came out of the water and I tell you, I had the best seat in the house. My nice, crisp long sleeve shirt may be soaked by the hugs but I count it such a privilege of being their spiritual father.

One sister was so overcome by the experience that she has to take a few minutes to sobbed with the towel covering her face. The daughter was in tears as she observed her mother being so emotional as the Lord lifted the burdens from her shoulders.

I was especially filled with joy to see a 60-something couple, a doctor and his wife, taking that step of obedience to commit their lives to God. The Lord has touched them and helped him overcomed his many initial doubts and i just cannot describe the gladness in my heart as I see them stepped into the baptism pool.

Another couple that recently came to the Lord has been attending our church for the last year- as non- Christians. They finally gave their hearts to the Lord two weeks ago and I was so happy for them. The fact that they were able to come weekly for one whole year without feeling alienated for being non-christians made me feel so proud of our folks in New Life.

There is such a grace for salvation in the church that I am so amazed. Every church needs fresh fire and wood and the Lord of the Harvest is truly at work here. Just a couple weeks ago, the ladies had a fun afternoon and some testimonies and even in that simple setting, three people came to know the Lord. All glory to the Lord Almighty. He is mighty to save!!!

Philip, Jaecie and Jeffery were members of our cell group during the early years of the church.
We are so proud that they have taken the challenge to plant the church in Cheras. It's always a joy when we see them during church functions. it's like meeting up with good old friends. We remained close even after so many years of serving in different churches.

How do you fulfill the destiny you were created for?

Let God take hold of your life!!

David was a shepherd boy but when God got a hold of his life, He turned him into a King- the destiny that God has created David for.

Emmanuel Adelbayor was a sickly paralysed boy but when God took hold of his life, He became one of the most wanted footballer whom God now used to testify of His Name.

Kaka's wish and ambition was just to play for Sao Paulo but when God took hold of his life, he became the 2007 Fifa Footballer of the year.

Yours truly truly had no ambition in life but when God took hold of my life, he turned this boy from a one-street town to being the senior pastor of a church that is impacting nations and touching lives.

Why are many Christians ineffective in their faith?

They believe that God is powerful but why isn't the power of God revealed in their lives?

They are not convinced that God is on their side.

MALAYSIAN CHRISTIANS MUST RISE UP AND FIGHT FOR OUR NATION

At the prayer service last Wednesday night, I felt the Lord saying that it’s time for us to rise up as His warriors.

Civilians occupy but warriors advance.

If we desire to advance in life, we must daily put on God’s armour and take steps of faith (against the comfort of staying where we are) knowing that we will not fail because God is with us.

God is building His end-time army and you and I are part of that massive, powerful, fearsome, advancing battalion that will stand with Him victorious over the power of the enemy.

"So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army." (Ezekiel 37:10 MSG)

Our nation is under great disarray because the devil, through his principalities and powers is seeking to destroy it.

This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. (Ephesians 6:12 MSG )

It’s up to the church of God to rise and stand in the gap and intercede for our land.

SAY HELLO TO THE NEW YOU

Dear Church,

I want to share with you a secret that will open the realm of the heavens to you so I want you to read this article again and again until you grasp its truth.

The Bible tells us to ‘put on our new man’ who is created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph 4:24; Col 3:10)

I was made a prefect when I was in Form Six and although I was physically puny, I knew the powers of the school was behind me when I put on the blue prefect’s jacket.

Similarly, we must understand that when we put on our new man, the realities of heaven and the resources of the kingdom are behind us.

Col 3:1-3 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honour at God's right hand… your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

Many, like the prodigal son, still live in the lack of their own strength when the abundant resources of the father’s house is waiting for him.

Folks, if you have asked Jesus Christ to come into your life, your identity has changed.

You are now a citizen of God’s country and you can enjoy its many benefits.

Your new man is now a citizen of the heavenly realms and you can experience its realities and powers.

Eph 2:6 For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

Last Sunday, as I was praying for a brother with a sprained shoulder, the Lord opened his spiritual eyes and he saw me as a huge being and not the size that I am now.

What happened was God opened his spiritual eyes and he saw my ‘spirit man’ who is my real person.

Many of you are housing spiritual giants without being aware of them. It’s time to walk in step with your spirit man.

So when you wake up in the morning, don't just put on your make-up but remember to put on your new man.

It’s time to walk as a citizen in your new country and enjoy all the benefits.

WHAT KAKA, ADELBAYOR AND KJ CHOI HAVE IN COMMON

I am an ardent sports fan. When studying for my engineering degree in Australia, I would spend hours watching Test cricket and ODIs during the summer holidays. I enjoyed watching the run making skills of Alan Border and Geoff Boycott and the pace of Michael Holding's fast bowling. I was equally excited about the Aussie Rules football and eagerly followed the fortunes of the North Melbourne Football Club.
When my family and I had a brief stint in the USA because of Grace’s job posting, I joined the passionate sports fans there in following the NBA and the MLB. I was and am still a Yankee fan although I was sad that Joe Torres, the manager left.
Now I am a keen BPL fan and I look forward to the weekly football highlights because the live matches are played too late for me.
Folks, this week I want to highlight three sportsmen who have discovered the key to great success, not just in their respective fields of sports but in life itself. To me, these three have discovered how to live Matthew 6:33 and reap its full benefits.
Many of you would have read the feature on Emmanuel Adelbayor in the Star newspaper on 4th Feb 2009. This Togo and Arsenal striker, who is one among the best and most sought after goalscorers in the BPL shared the secret to his success. He said,
“Everything I do in life I put in the hands of God, my creator”
“God gave me the chance to be where I am today and He’s the One that can take it all away from me…. There is nothing more important for me than God”.
Secondly, most of you had already heard me talk about Kaka, the Brazilian and A.C. Milan player who won the 2007 Fifa Footballer of the year.
A devout Christian, Kaka had said in his acceptance speech that God has more in store for us than what we can think or desire.
At another instance, he said, “I learnt that it is faith that decides whether something will happen or not".
Many saw the moment he removed his jersey to reveal an "I Belong to Jesus" T-shirt after the final whistle of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup match.
Indeed, Kaka is open about his intentions. In his interview with Atletas de Cristo, he said:
“To those who already have Jesus: you have made the best choice and are in the best team. Go ahead. Do not give up. The fight is great, but we can only win being on Jesus’ side. To those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus: What are you doing being outside of this team?! Come to learn the Word of God, come to know who God really is”.
The third Christian sportsman is K J Choi, the first Korean to earn a PGA tour card. He earned $900,000 by clinching his third PGA Tour title at Forest Oaks last year and donated 10 percent of his winnings to the church, explaining in a note that it was a tithe.
In Golf Digest, he was asked, “In one of your wins in Greensboro, it has been reported that you gave $90,000 to the local Korean Christian Church which leads me to ask, how important is your faith to you in the way you live and play golf?”
KJ Choi said, “For me, my life as a golfer is like a large tree withstanding wind and rain but still standing strong and tall. Sometimes when I am in a very difficult situation and feel like giving up, I am thankful to know that the Lord is looking over me and holding out his hand to guide me. I give prayers every morning and evening and this brings calmness to my lifestyle. It also allows me to bring the same attitude to the golf course, which results in greater patience during a round. This is how Christianity assists me with my everyday lifestyle".
Folks, the scripture tells that we are all sportsmen/sportswoman placed on this earth to compete for Him. If we want to be successful, let us learn from these exemplary sportsmen and win in this great race of life. Let us put God first in every decision we make in life and we will have great success.
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. (Philippians 3:14)
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. (2 Timothy 4:7)
Folks, Matthew 6:33 works in all economic situations. Pray it daily.

We arrived there in time for lunch and guess what? We went straight for the Char Keow Teow.

The Penang Bridge drive is actually quite picturesque except that the authorities seemed to be erecting these dividers to stop people from enjoying the view. It could be that they are doing this to reduce the number of accidents which are quite high on the bridge but it's such a lousy way of doing things.

Our family did an overnight trip to Penang in the new Camry just before CNY. Our purpose was to visit Kong Meng's family- KM celebrated his 50th birthday and Mrs. Wong , her 80th so we thought that we will hold a 'double happiness' dinner for them since Mr. Wong is too weak to travel down. We had the pleasure of meeting up with the Angs in the morning and had some fun driving to the different back lanes for hawker food although many of them were already closed for New Year. I want to share another testimony of an answer to prayer.

My daughter Sarah is into the final year of her HR degree course in Uni SA in Adelaide, Australia. Two weeks ago, the classes were opened for sign-ups but by the time she came back from work, all the places in the classes that she wanted were already taken up and she was forced to take one of them externally.

Why would we want to send her to Adelaide to take an external course (from the web) makes no sense but what can you do? She submitted in her request and I told her not to give up hope but to pray. I believed God can open doors that are closed.

She checked a couple of times after that but was disappointed that there was change in her status. I did not give up hope despite the silence and sure enough, the answer to our prayer came soon after that and she was granted a place in the class that she wanted.

Praise the Lord!!! There is power in the Name of Jesus!

THE POWER OF THE NAME OF JESUS III

Two weeks ago, a 'Loh Sang' was planned for the supervisors in my house in the evening. The CNY period has always been hot and dry but for some unusual reasons, it has been raining every evening. I did not want the rain to spoil our gathering so I decided to ask my Heavenly Father to stop the rain that day. I asked in Jesus' Name. On that day, the rain came extraordinarily early (early afternoon) and cooled the whole place down and we had a wonderful gathering.

I experienced the power of Jesus' Name again.

I want to testify of the power of Jesus' Name.

At the staff devotion a couple of months ago, Pastor Raymond shared a dream that he had. In that dream, many were coming to him for answers to the turmoil that is going on in the world- earthquakes, hurricanes etc. In the dream, he told them that he can't help them and just as he woke up, he heard the Lord telling him that there is power in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and to use that Name.

The following day, some church folks took me out for lunch in the city. The roasted pork rice was one of the best that I have ever eaten. The pork was juicy and I had more than my fill. Just as we were finishing, there was a huge downpour and we had to scramble to get into the car to avoid being drenched.

At that moment, I remembered with horror that I had wound down the windows to my car which was parked in church. It would take at least half an hour to get back to P.J. and in my mind, i already saw pictures of the rain flooding the inside of my car.

I then recalled what Ps Raymond shared the previous day and my faith rose to apply the Triune name to my desperate situation. I look to the sky and with a voice below my breath, commanded the rain to not fall where my car was.

Things did not look good at all throughout the journey as the rain was incessant and as we reached P.J., there was no letting up and my faith plunged. Doubts began to assail my mind.

As we turned into the church compound, I was shocked to see the place dry. As i got out of the car to run up to the office to retrieve my car keys, drops of rain started to fall and as my car windows are wound up, the downpour came.

I experienced the power of the Name of Jesus that day.

Here are four (4) truths from Joshua 1 that will empower you and New Life to reach the fullness of God’s promises this year.

1. You are an object of God’s immense possibilities.

Jos 1:3-4 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, I have given that to you, as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even to the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border.

2. God is on your side. You will not fail.

Jos 1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.

HAVING FUN WITH GOD

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. To those of you who might already be back in your hometowns next week, we wish you ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai’. May your reunion with your loved ones be meaningful and may the light of Christ in you shine and bring hope and joy to your folks. We pray for your journey mercy and that God may send His angels to protect and accompany you. To those who are not married, may your pockets be full of angpows!! We'll save you some 'blessing cookies'!!

One of my desires in New Life is to help our folks to enjoy the life that God has created them to live.

Religion has taken the joy and the fun out of Christianity because the devil comes ‘to steal, to kill and to destroy’. He knows that if he can remove the element of joy from their relationships with God, many will find Christianity to be dissatisfying and return to the world and missed out on God's salvation. Many have also left their faith because it has become a burden and a chore.
Jesus empathized with many sincere Christians (like Nicodemus) who were weighed down by religious laws and so he said

Mat 11:28-30 "Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest…… For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."

Another word for fun is joy. They need to know that joy is a fruit of the spirit. That means, we will not know true joy, satisfaction or fun unless we are made alive (born again) in our spirit through Jesus.

We are spirit beings. Being spiritual is not boring but fun and joyful. In fact, when we live in the spirit, we have more fun than we ever had. Most people find Christianity boring because they have not stepped into this realm of the 4th dimension. They have just live life according to the flesh which brings deadness rather than life.

Our children need to know that following Jesus is not following a list of dos and don’ts.

Pastor Kenneth Toon testified:
“My wife and I are really having fun in our room……praying and communing with the Lord. There is a real sense that God is listening to us and speaking back to us. This reality is flowing into the church as we found that our church members are beginning to enjoy ministering to our Father and being in His presence. We have found that when we seek God first, our prayer lives are transformed and we receive wisdom, divine revelations, directions for life and the Holy Spirit is powerfully at work in our lives. Christians cannot run their lives with their tanks empty but they need to be filled daily with the Holy Spirit, the oil that comes when we seek God. God has also convicted me to not talk to any human being without first talking to our Heavenly Father first.

Folks, let us ask God for the grace to restore fun and joy to the following areas this year:
-Our Faith (Our daily relationship with God)
-Our Family
-Our Friends
-Our Finance

Let God, the creator of joy, laughter, enjoyment and pleasure teach us how to have fun as a Christian!!!

God's Divine Arrangement

I just received news that Mr. Takashima, one of our Japanese friend's father passed away suddenly due to a hemorrhage in his brain. While this was a shock to us (since we only met him last week), I am amazed at God's divine arrangement. Our team visited his home at Nara (an ancient capital of Japan) and he and his wife Mikiko were so hospitable. She is a great cook and really enjoyed ourselves. On arrival, the couple took us through the traditional tea ceremony (which was likened to an old Japanese christian communion ritual). It was quite an experience and we loved the tea. After dinner, Haruki (our Japanese friend) took us around the house and I soon found myself alone with Mr Takashima who spoke some English. He was friendly and I felt a connection with him. Before I took leave and head back to the team, I wished him well for his appointment with his dentist. I was surprised when he opened his feelings and reveal his fears, something which I thought no elderly Japanese man would do. I asked if I could prayed for him and to my joy, he agreed. I prayed with affection and love for him and he was clearly touched. He later told his son, Haruki that he was touched to tears. I believe the Holy Spirit really ministered to him and I am hopeful that Haruki's prayer with him during the visit to the hospital sealed the work of God in this man's life. Apparently in the father's last phone conversation to Haruki he suddenly talked about his future possible death and requested a Christian funeral. God must be preparing for his passing and I am just glad to be used by the Lord to touch this soul serendipitiously. God is amazing.

Mission Trip to Kobe, Japan

Our trip to Kobe, Japan was wonderful. It was great to see a healthy and thriving church in a nation where people have traditionally labelled as 'hard ground' for the gospel. The folks were so responsive to the messages and we made many friends. Their hospitality made us feel very welcomed and I feel that this is just the beginning of a relationship between New Life and Kobe Bible Fellowship. Ps Rob certainly has good insights into the Japanese mindset and he is doing a good job at KBF. I left with many good memories and new experiences. Thank you Lord.

I feel the need to continue to write regarding the 'spirit of inferiority'. I do believe it is one of the most powerful demons at work in preventing Christians from coming into the fullness that God desires for us.

This demon caused us to perceive ourselves to be weak and inferior to others.

This is the spirit of the grasshopper mindset.

It is the work of the demon of fear.

This spirit of Intimidation caused the Israelites to cower before Goliath.

It is the spirit that prevented the Israelites from reaching the promised land.

It is the demon that brought down Saul's kingship as it manifested itself and made Saul reacted with jealousy and insecurity to David's elevation.

Friends, 2008 is coming to an end and if we desire to see a better 2009, we need to cry out to the Lord and put off this demon of inferiority from us.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, I cast out the demon of inferiority. Be gone in Jesus' Name.

Be free!

Be bold!

To keep this spirit abay, we must walk in the love of God. Resist any temptation to respond or react to fear, jealousy or intimidation. Instead soak ourselves in the knowledge of the love of God.

Eph 3:17-19 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, (18) may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, (19) and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

1Jo 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

STAND OUT FOR GOD

If we believe that God made each of us unique and special, it follows that we are outstanding in at least one area over the six billion or more lives on this planet. This special quality that God has placed in you and I makes us stand out. This has been shown in the lives of the people that God used.

David was outstanding as he alone dared to face Goliath and killed him.This special quality was so obvious to all that they even composed a song that rhymed, "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands."
Daniel and his friends were outstanding in wisdom and were ten times better than the wise men of Babylon.

"And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm."(Dan 1:19-20)

The same spirit that elevated David from being a shepherd boy to being a giant killer and a king is in us.
Let us rise above the spirit of inferiority that limits and makes us small and stops us from being what God has made us to be- that is, to be outstanding.

Last Monday night, Grace and I attended the inaugural Merdeka Awards function at the KLCC Philharmornic Hall where our PM handed awards to some individuals and organisations that had made outstanding contributions for the advancement of Malaysia and its people in five different categories. (

As I looked around the hall, I could recognise the faces of many who have made outstanding contributions to our nation. As a result of their contributions, everyone of them helped our nation to benefit in those areas which would otherwise remained undeveloped and backward. Every person who is outstanding is a pioneer in some areas and he/she can help push open doors that will help others.

Let us rise above the spirit of inferiority and step into the outstanding destiny that is within us by the Spirit of God. Each of you can help others break into a new area of growth and victory. Step into your outstandingness!
God has set us free from every spirit of inferiority. Refuse to allow inferiority to cap our growth and stature.
Arise and shine for you are no longer unimportant and insignificant but you are outstanding for the Lord!!

Pain-Filled week

I had a painful week. I sprained some part of my lower back last Friday exercising and by Sunday I was not sure if I could even make it to preach at the Puchong Church. Besides my 'toothache' experience in Amritsar, this was my worst encounter with pain. I now understand what it means to have 'searing' pain. Slight movements like turning around on the bed, getting up and bending were just too excruciating and I was already thinking that I might have to be admitted to hospital and lie still for a few days. Grace tried applying some 'hot' muscle rubs but none were effecitve. I was not even able to bend my head to wash my face. At the Puchong church, I had to sit through much of the worship and then preached without moving around too much. I then returned to the main church for the leaders' meeting and was glad that they gathered and prayed for me.

It took a week but praise God that I was able to recovered...quite miraculously...I thought.... because I was still in great pain two days ago when I got off my bed. As I write this, I am amazed that the pain is completely gone and I am able to continue with my regular activities. I am so glad that it was not a slipped disc or something more serious. I must remind myself that I am no longer young and I need to be careful when doing more strenous exercises. :-) Praise God for His protection and His healing.

MISSION TRIP TO RUSSIA (12th to 24th Oct 2008)

Day 12- Glad to be home but will miss Russia. We had fond memories of the trip. It was especially wonderful to have Grace with me on this trip.

Day 10 (Tues)- We left Volgograd and arrived in Moscow. Since we have about 8 hrs before our flight to Hong Kong, Ps Thomas suggested we visit Islamvogo where there was a large flea market. Every tourist to Moscow will have to put up with its atrocious traffic jam. It was definitely worst than KL's

Grace wrote this email to Sarah and Nicholas just before we head towards the Volgograd airport:
It is 5.20am and we are waiting for our transport to the Volgograd airport which will be a 2 hour journey to airport. We bought some souvenir mugs, salami, Mayonaise, condensed milk that is quite unique to Russia.
Russia is very interesting land of diverse peoples and opportunities. Its like a western developing country.
We have to wait in Moscow for about 8 hours so will get chance to do a bit more of sight seeing and also shopping if any. I don't plan to buy anything much.
Boy, you are fetching us right? See you in about 30 hours time.

In the evening, we met with the medical students, many of whom are Malaysians. Hana did a very good and encouraging icebreaker with them. For some reasons, I was very touched as we worshipped together- I wanted them to know that God our Father is with them even as they were so far away from home. We encouraged them to have a vision for our nation and to use medicine as their calling from the Lord. Grace and I prayed for everyone of them It was unfortunate that we could not have a meal together with them. I wanted to buy pizza for them all.

Ps Simone got me to share what we do in New Life with his staff. I shared our 3 Bs and our 3 Fs with them.

This a dish of pork fat. Eaten with mustard, it tasted exactly like sashimi. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the church members took us for a special Russian lunch at a restaurant.

Day 9(Mon)- Back in Volgagrad. Ps Thomas rejoined the team and Ps Simone took us for a visit to the city centre. We were hoping to catch a cruise to sail down the Volga river but unfortunately the cruise was not in operation during this low period.

I ministered to the adults. This picture was a session that I took with the leaders after the main church service.

Day 8 (Sunday)- We were outside the apartment without our interpreter so we had to resort to the Russian-English dictionary to communicate.

We had a bit of a scare after taking this shot of Hana. If you look at the top of this picture, we caught the speedboat coming towards our direction. We thought it was the military and our suspicions were heightened when it stopped in the middle of the river just next to us. Hana and I did not wait to find out if we were right as we scurried away quickly. Akhtubinsk has some military towns and some of them are still closed to visitors.

Day 7 (Sat)- Ps Thomas told us to make sure that we try 'Rak' so we conveyed this to Ps Arthur who went 'Rakking' and came up with a whole pot of it. We discovered it was 'crawfish' of which we had tasted in New Orleans. We went for a picnic and had a real feast of the crawfish next to the Aktuba river. It tasted like steamed lobster or prawns but getting the little bit of flesh from its body (the majority of its weight is on its head which is discarded) takes a bit of work. It was fun eating crawfish outdoors in the cold.

Had dinner back at the apartment after the meeting. By now we have developed a good friendship bond and we were comfortable enough with one another that Valya, her daughter and her grandson Nikita sang as a beautiful song in Russian. The fellowship was sweet. Since it was late, we reluctantly broke up this wonderful time of fellowship to retire for the nigh.

Friday night- we had a service at Ps Arthur's church. I preached on sonship. I ended by praying for Ps Arthur and his leaders. Apparently, this was the message that the Lord has been speaking to them about.

We then went to buy some flowers to place on Ps Viktor's grave. Every other grave had a Russian Orthodox cross which is slightly different to that of a normal '+'. It has two different length horizontal bars instead of one and a skewed bar where the ankle of the Lord was supposed to be (you might be able to see one of them on the above picture- on the extreme right side). A Russian Orthodox official wanted to remove Ps Viktor's cross because it is different (and they consider protestant churches cultist) but the Lord's grace prevailed.

We then visited a nearby river. It was so quite and peaceful.

In the afternoon, Ps Arthur took us to see a house which he desires to purchase for a drug rehabilitation centre. This house has a big piece of land and will cost USD7000.

We passed by a one lane wet market and bought lots of fruits which were cheap.

Day 6- We got our host to take us to have a look at their local products in the supermarket.

We were going to leave after ministry but the hostess was so sad and insistent that we decided to stay and eat. Everywhere we go, we can't leave without partaking of their food.

We then laid hands and prayed for everyone.

After lunch we headed towards the border (to Kazakstan)town of Baskunchak where Ps Arthur pastored before he went to take over the church at Akhtubinsk after his father's passing. We gathered in this living room which was so hot despite being freezing outside. The hostess has an amazing story of God's deliverance for her daughter who was mentally deranged and violent and had to be locked up for 15 years. It was such an amazing testimony. The now mentally sound daughter is in the room. I ministered the word of God and shared about the plan and power of God for our lives.

With Ps Arthur, his wife Luda, his mother Natasha and his maternal grandmother. They fed us so much. Today's lunch included roast chicken which i enjoyed thoroughly.

Visitors to Russia will notice that there are many monuments and memorials everywhere. Here in this small town is a memorial to those fought with the airforce. We stumble upon this memorial during our morning walk and decided to take a picture with the automatic feature. This structure is a combination of the wing of an aeroplane and that of a bird.

Day 5- Grace and I went for a walk in the morning while waiting for Ps Arthur to fetch us for lunch at his mother's house. It was cold but we enjoyed it.

This shot was taken from our room of a neighbouring block of flats similar to the one we are staying in. What surprised me was the high tech security door at the ground floor.

With the couple, Dennis and Svetna, a covert from Islam who told us an incredible story of her conversion. She certainly has God's destiny in her life and she will be a tremendous soul winner. I bet we have not heard the last of her yet.

This is what Grace wrote from her Blackberry to Sarah and Nicholas regarding this couple:

Hi girl and boy....Yesterday the highlight(besides the long journey to Aktubinsk) was meeting upwith this couple who is starting a new church in a new rural area. This arealooks poor and reminds me of Port Klang when I was a young girl. Old woodenhouse, fire wood, well, broken machinery etc. All the windows on homes are well outlind with green or blue paint. Think its a cultural thing. This couple (photo attached) is the story I wanted to tell cos it is worthy ofa Hollywood show. I may not have time to write all the fine details buthopefully enough to give you the Wow expression at least when I heard it. Theyjust got married last month and bought this derelict place because it was whatthey could afford to start their lives together, have a family and start achurch in the home. The space is there but sure needs a lot of work and funds tospruce it up. The man's story is short- an ex drug addict whom God delivered. Very humbleyoung man with a heart for God. The wife is the focus - an ex-Muslim from Kazathstan. She told a miraculous story of her conversion. Youngest daughter of 12, she was spoiled andrebellious. At 20, she was knocked down by a car and given up for dead. Hermother refused to give up hope despite her major injuries which doctors saideven if she recovered, she will be brain dead and a vegetable. After 15 days,she awoke and told of how when she was in coma, God showed her all her sins from7 years old to 20 - even what she considered small sins. She was deeply shaken because Muslims are taught children are not responsible for their sins until 13 when circumcision happens. Because she kept telling her family and relatives onwhat happened to her at coma, people thought she was cuckoo and was going to puther in an asylum. Fearing that, she pestered her parents to send her to college for studies. They didn't think she would make it and her relatives kept jeering at how stupid and crazy she had become after the accident. She persisted because her experience was real and wanted to set out on a journey to understand what it meant. She graduated and decided to leave town and came to Aktubinsk where she worked for a food store. At the store was a Christian who witnessed to anyone she can get to hear. She avoided her after being warned that this lady preaches a cultreligion. Nevertheless, one day she went ahead to have lunch with her altho shewas determined not to listen. Just wanted a lunch partner only. Days passed and one day, her purse with all the important documents got stolen.She was so distressed and cried relating the loss to the Christian lunch partner. Her friend said, you list out all the documents that you lost on a piece of paper. I will get the church to pray for you. Lo and behold, prayer answered a few weeks later and she received a letter toget them from a certain place. The Christian friend told her since the Lord has answered the prayer, she needed to go to church to thank God and the people! Out of obligation, she went. At church, she was translated back to her coma experience like a theater. Where she was, was dark, and where the pulpit was, was bright light. She kneeled andcried throughout the service and was saved. She understood her sins needed forgiveness from Jesus. Being of Muslim background, she was initially very fearful of her 9 big drunken brothers who threatened to kill her. Nevertheless, the Lord gave her boldnessa nd she rebuked the brothers of their irresponsibilities in the family etc. The brothers noted her positive change from a brat to a caring person and theybacked off. Her life had been transformed. Part 2 later will be story of how she met her husband. My fingers painful already with this BB. Anyway, show must have series to be box office status.HeheLove you. Pastor Arthur took us to Znamensk to meet a couple who will be starting a church there. The couple just bought a rather dilapidated house with no electricity and no running water. Here we are outside the house trying the well water. Picture show Ps Arthur clowning around and saying "The well water is poisonous" as he clutched his throat.

This is an email we wrote to Sarah and Nicholas-

Dear Sarah and Nicholas,

Our hostess, Valia overwhelms us with her hospitality.She makes us eat all the time. What a contrast with the stories we heard aboutneeding to give money to our hosts in advance so that they could buy food . We are staying in a typical Russian apartment. The block of apartments look very dilapidated and inhabitable but inside is very cosy albeit compact.It's true what people say about the home being where love is and there wasmuch love, laughter and Christian fellowship in this apartment. Last night she said aloud that she wished the days are longer so that we could have longertimes of fellowship. This is even more remarkable if you knew she was analcoholic before who consumed liters of vodka every day. It got so bad that shehad to seek the help of doctors who could not help her. It destroyed her marriage and ate up all her money. Her drunkeness got so bad that when she gotto know Ps Arthur (the pastor we are visiting), she begged him to help her. PsArthur prayed for her and she testified that her desire for alcohol vanished in an instant and she had not had any more desire since then. She is now a church leader and her business in selling women's clothing is being blessed by the lord. Grace and I are so blessed by her generosity. Yesterday she took us to the market and bought so much stuff because every enquiry from us was an indicationof our desire and she really wanted to make sure that we got every desire of ourhearts. Our stay with her will be one of our fond memories of Russia. SpaseebaYesu (thank you Jesus)

Together with our translator, Dennis, the three of us (excluding Pastor Thomas, who remained behind to teach at the Bible school) then headed towards a small rural town named Akhtubinsk. One glaring feature about the landscape during the journey is its flatness. Not a hill in side. The journey took about 2 hours.

Pastor Simone is Ps Alexy's right hand man. We chatted and shared pastoring ideas over the breakfast table.

Day 4- After breakfast, Hana and Grace went outside with our host to visit her garden. They took many pictures of the colourful flowers and plants which are too many to post.

In the evening, I ministered at one of their outreach churches. Pastor Tatiana has such a heart of a mother for her flock which filled her living room. I shared on 'Keys to the Kingdom'. Many came forth for healing. I was moved by their needs. Many were divorced and struggled with alcoholism. Three (above) accepted the Lord as their Saviour.

Dennis got Grace and I to pose in such a way that it seems like we were holding the torch- which burns day and night in memory of those who sacrificed their lives in defending their motherland. We were fortunate to see the changing of guards which was quite a show of excellence in precision and discipline. The weather was perfect. Beautiful blue skies, cool breeze- Thank you Lord.

They scheduled me to teach a session of their Bible school but Pastor Thomas got too passionate and took up my session so we went to 'Mama Hill', a famous Volgograd landmark- a must see for all visitors. The statue is apparently taller than the statue of liberty and can be seen from a long distance away. It is a symbol of the motherland calling all Russians to defend the country against the invasion by Germany. It was a great victory for Russia and halted Germany advancement.

Day 3- They did not plan any ministry in the morning so one of their staff took us to visit their war museum. It was a visit that helped us to understand the history of the city. Did you know that V was previously Stalingrad? I was impressed by Valera's (second from right) knowledge of the historical events.

The flight to Volgograd took about 2 and a half hours. It was already dark when we landed and w were met at the airport by our translator Dennis (who visited Malaysia last year) and a couple of the Malaysian medical students. We stayed at Ps Alexy (the senior pastor of the mother church) and Galina's house. That Galina on the left with her son, Alex who knocked on our door and said 'Go, eat.' At least he knows more English than I know Russian.

We have 8 hrs before the internal flight to Volgograd so we visited the famous Red Square and the St Basilica Cathedral. It was cold (10C) but we enjoyed the walkabout. Paid 100 roubles each to see the inside of the Cathedral. Full of icons. Pastor Thomas is a veteran missionary to Russia so he doubled as our guide. BTW, he is our church's Christina's father.

Day 2- Finally arrived in Moscow after 18 hrs. 4 hrs to HK on Cathay Pacific- another 4 hrs transit in HK- 10 hrs to Moscow on Aeroflot. It was a tiring journey especially since I could not sleep a wink. No entertainment on board Aeroflot. They used to clap when the Aeroflot lands successfully but this round, only a few did. Hope they keep the tradition. Kinda unusual but cute.

WHEN ONE BAD THING HAPPEN AFTER ANOTHER

Some of us may have experienced circumstances when one after another seemingly 'bad' things happened to 'good' people who are trying their best to obey the Lord in their daily lives. How do you explain such situations to those who are going through such discouraging and difficult circumstances?

Nothing must move us from our position of 'being loved' by our father. God allowed these things to happen because He is at work in our lives (which tells us that we are in a good place in His loving plan for us) . The seemingly continous 'bad' things are lovingly designed to remove our confidence in ourselves so that we will trust completely in His love for us. Trust is true when we do not understand.

KEEPING OUR FAITH UP WHEN THE DOW GOES DOWN

Dear Church,
The USD700b bailout of failing financial institutions is causing great concern all over the world, including our own nation. US businesses obviously did not think the plan would work and the Dow even fell 800 points once within a day, an intraday record. European and Asian markets also did not respond positively to the bailout plan. Across the board, all markets closed in the red. The Nikkei fell to its lowest in 4.5 years.

I was talking to one of our folks who heads a foreign construction firm here in Malaysia last week and he told me that there are no longer any more projects in Malaysia and he has to travel overseas a great deal to secure business.

Last Sunday during worship, I asked the Lord how Christians should respond to this worldwide financial crisis.

Firstly, I felt the Lord say, ‘My people must trust in My love for them’
The foundation of an unshakable life is the knowledge of God’s perfect love.
God’s love casts out fear. If God cares for the sparrows of the fields which does not labour and provide for their daily sustenance, God knows how to take care of all our needs and that of our loved ones.
Every night as we lie down to sleep, we must affirm God’s love for us so that we know that we can wake up to a world in which God will take care of us.
This is the season when Christians must renew their faith in our God who is Jehovah Jireh, Our Provider. God’s economy is from heaven and His storehouse is not subjected to the failures of the world’s financial institutions.

Secondly, daily ask the Holy Spirit to be your Counsellor and make Him the senior partner of your business.
The Holy Spirit is a real Person whom we can trust to guide us. Start your day committing your day and business appointments to Him. Ask Him for His grace which is sufficient through every situation. Jesus is the Way through this world’s financial mess.
God has already foretold the failure of this world’s economic institutions in the book of Revelation. He knows the future ahead of us.
He knows which side of the boat where we should cast our nets for a good catch (John 21:6). He directed Peter to the fish with the coin that paid taxes for himself and Peter (Matt 17:27).
Christians on Wall Street have begun to set up special prayer meetings for the week. Special prayer conference calls are taking place and extraordinary prayer meetings were scheduled at Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, and elsewhere.

Thirdly, be a light that shines in darkness
Folks, you are the light of the world. There will be many whose lives are fearful and shaken by what is happening in the world. Their confidence in the strongest of world’s institutions is being shredded to bits daily. They face a future of darkness.

Last Monday, an unemployed American man who had a MBA in Finance and who had worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sony Pictures, despondent over his own financial problems, shot and killed his wife, three children, mother-in-law and then himself in an upscale home in a gated community in Los Angeles.
There will be many who need your light to point them to hope and salvation. This is the greatest season for harvest.

Don’t hide your light. Let it shine. Be a witness for God. Your words can lead them to Jesus.

CHRISTIANS, STAND YOUR GROUND

2Sa 23:8-12 These are the names of David's mighty men: Josheb-Basshebeth, a Tahkemonite, was chief of the Three; he raised his spear against eight hundred men, whom he killed in one encounter. (9) Next to him was Eleazar son of Dodai the Ahohite. As one of the three mighty men, he was with David when they taunted the Philistines gathered at Pas Dammim for battle. Then the men of Israel retreated, (10) but he stood his ground and struck down the Philistines till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. The LORD brought about a great victory that day. The troops returned to Eleazar, but only to strip the dead. (11) Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel's troops fled from them. (12) But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

At the combined prayer service last night, I felt the Lord saying that we need Christians who have the spirit of Joshua and the spirit of David's might men like Eleazar and Shammah who stood their ground in the face of great dangers. This spirit that does not flee in the face of giants. It is a tenacious spirit that stands its ground and fight for the land. Christians in Malaysia must not flee but stand to fight for our nation. The enemy will be glad if he could put fear in the hearts of those with spiritual authority (Christians) to run helter skelter to other nations because of fear. He knows that these are ones who can make a difference to this land if they stand their ground. Folks, let us put on the spirit of Eleazar and Shammah and continue to fight for Malaysia. We will see the difference. We will win our land if we stand our ground like Shammah. The Lord will make the difference. He will bring about a great victory if His people do not succumb to fear but stand our ground and defend our land.

Eph 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

MY 51ST BIRTHDAY

The staff celebrated Pastor Yee Onn and my birthdays yesterday morning. We had a marbled and a cheesecake that tasted a bit sourish but awfully nice. THE POWER OF CHEERING

Dear Church,

I was watching both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions on TV last week and was amazed at the reception and cheering that both Senator Barrack Obama and John McCain got from their supporters when it was their turns to address the gatherings.They were visibly thankful and touched by such overwhelming and thunderous support as they kept clapping and cheering despite nearly more than 10 'thank you's from the two candidates to get them to settle down so that they can start their speeches which were frequently interrupted by more cheering and clapping. The cheering seemed to impart greater and greater hope as the convention went on.

On the flipside, there is an equally great power from criticism which has plunged our national morale to our lowest level since independence. Instead of hope, the citizens of our country are feeling greater and greater despair.

Folks, cheering or encouraging one another can make or break a person or a nation or it can propel us into greatness. There is such a fine line between greatness and defeat that lends great credence to the power of cheer or encouragement.

We read in 1 Sam 23 how Jonathan encouraged David when the latter was relentlessly being hunted down by King Saul and often despaired of life eventhough the prophet Samuel had anointed him as king. David rose above his discouraging situations in life and soon achieved greatness in the annals of Israel. In part, he has Jonathan, his cheerleader to be thankful for.

For decades, China has been criticized for their lack of press freedom, religious persecution, pollution, corruption, trading red-tapes etc. China's leaders rose above the world's criticism and through the Olympics showed the good side of China that critics have overlooked. Criticism have a tendency to cause us to focus on what is bad and forget that there is a lot of good in the situation.

But you asked, 'Pastor, what if the person is wrong? Should we not criticise so that he/she will change?'

Folks, the biblical solution is to speak the truth in love. Eph 4:15

We only earn the right to correct a situation if we do it out of love for the person and not just because we want the other person to change. The operative word is 'love'.

Each of us have the power of cheering and encouragement to take another brother or sister to greatness. You have the power to bring our church to the next level of destiny that God has meant New Life to be.
Grace and I attempt to be your strongest cheerleaders which is one reason why we take the trouble to write birthday greetings to our leaders year after year. We never get tired to say the same things over and over again if they can cheer or encourage you on. Our desire is for our church to be a church made up of the most encouraging people the community has ever known.

We cheer for you because we believe in the great destiny our folks are heading for and we hope you too will cheer for us so that together we can build New Life into a great church.

Malaysia is 51

Our church believes that God has placed us in Malaysia for a purpose so for the last 8 years, we have been fasting and praying for our nation during the months of July and August.

We just completed another marathon 40 days of fasting and prayer for Malaysia.

It was no small feat.

Our beloved country is going through much disarray and it is really up to the church to determine the future of Malaysia.

We have the power of our almighty God to make a real difference.

Merdeka Weekend with Intercessors

Grace and I spent part the Merdeka weekend at P.D. with our intercessors to let them know how much that we appreciate them.

I wholeheartedly believe that prayer is the most important key to a healthy church.

Nothing can be accomplish without prayer because prayer is the spirit of humility that releases God's grace.

Every victory is due to God's grace.

I know that our church is destined for greater things because we have a group of folks who are so supportive of us and have such a love for the church.

They are of one mind and one spirit with us.

The spirit of oneness in this team just cause me to have a prayer of gratitude and thanksgiving to the Lord.

We saw such a beautiful sunset in the evening. It was as if God was showing forth His pleasure to us.

Thank you, Lord!!

'CAN DO' CHURCH

We had one of the best camp gatherings with Pastor Kindah Greening of the King's Christian Centre at Port Dickson's Avillion Admiral Cove. The hotel has quite a picturesque surroundings with yachts parked at the piers. The food was in abundance and the rooms were 5 star. Our New Life folks responded extremely well to Pastor Kindah's animated, humorous style of ministry. This is his first overseas ministry since his quadriple bypass so this in itself is quite amazing. I got to know this remarkable man over this short period and greatly enjoyed the times of fellowship with him over meals. We contimue to text each other since the camp to keep our friendship going.

The following comments testified to the impact the camp has on our folks:

I believe that my faith is being raised to another higher level. Unity in our church has been strongly strengthened. Also, I believe that my attitude to commit myself and submit my undertakings to the Lord have been greatly energized…that there is nothing that cannot be done.- Paul Choong

I conducted my first water baptism as a Cell Leader. It was especially meaningful to me cos the one I help Pr. Lawrence baptize is the little sister (long lost) that I was united with through the grace of God. Besides the great fun and fellowship with one another, one area that impacted me was the chapter on ‘The Power of the United Mind’. The Bible kind of unity is more than passive unity. Rather it is an aggressive teamwork! It is unity in action. Unity may be prayed for, hope for, but unity will never be achieved unless it is worked for.
I learnt that each of us need to put our actions (not just our talk) together in order to build a strong ‘Can Do Church’ as to accomplish the vision that God has for us and experience the power of teamwork so that the enemy will definitely be unable to divide us and God’s name can be glorified!- Lai Hing

I believe we believers have the first priority to catch the spirit of Can Do if we are close to Jesus because He initiated the spirit and the power of Can Do is flowing from within Him. I have learned a lot from the camp, especially on the topic of ‘Generosity’. I think a lot of people view generosity as being generous with money but I definitely agree with the speaker that generosity also covers the way of thinking, the way of seeing and the way of living. WHAT A WONDER YOU ARE!

Dearest Church,

Recently members of the Spanish Basketball team the players posed with their index fingers stretching their eyes to a thin slit in an attempt to look more Chinese as they posed for an advertisement next to a picture of the dragon.

This caused an uproar as many Chinese were offended as they regarded it to be racist.

Paul Gasol, one of the more reknown members of the team could not understand why and said, “If anybody feels offended by it we totally apologize for it. We never meant anything offensive by it.”

To him and many i suspect, imitation is the best form of flattery so why the hulabaloo.

One of the most powerful demon that could wreck marriages, separate friendships and destroy churches is the spirit of offence.

This demon is actively at work in Malaysia. The Chinese and Indians are hurt and offended that the Malays get all the government benefits despite working hard in nation building. The Malays are offended that the other races regard them as lazy and this hurt is a thick wall of separation between the races in our country.

The spirit of offence is also actively at work in churches where members can take offence at a wrong sentence or word a leader or pastor could have used in a sermon or in a conversation. They can be also offended that they do not get the praise and recognition they wanted although they knew that everything done is for the Lord and not for man.

This demon often manifest itself in pride (for e.g. pride in your own race, dialect etc), envy (we envy those who gets the breaks in life or get the commendation, success etc), inferiority (many Asians think that the whites are better than them) and insecurity (we often need to prove that we are better or the kiasu syndrome- ‘the fear of failure or losing out’).

One Christian brother who has known the Lord for many years, recently shared with tears in his eyes, how he had to struggle much with insecurity all his life. He related how he had difficulty relating with certain people who intimidated him.

Folks, the solution is to see how God sees us. In the book of Psalms chapter one hundred and thirty nine, the author tells us that we are wonderfully and marvellously made and that God has crowned us with glory and honour (Ps 8).

Once you accept yourselves fully and realised that God was thinking about you even before He made the world, all inferiority and smallness will vaporise from our minds. God chose to make you- the shape of your eyes, your height and the shape of your toes. You are a wonder conceived in God’s mind!!!

The spirit of offence will have no effect on a person who is fully assured of the wonder of his personhood and who knows that he is loved by his creator.

May the Lord grant us a revelation of the wonder and the marvel that we are.

A person may be many years going to church but if he does not make the decision to become a Christian, then it will not make any difference to his life.

What we know in our heads must go to our hearts for any transformation in our lives. That journey can only start with a decision.

You have a wife because one day you made the decision to commit and marry the person that you love.
Those who do not want to commit will bring no change to their marital status- they will remain single all their lives.

Your decisions indicate your commitments. The committed ones are those who bet their lives on it. The Bible tells us that those who lose their lives will save it.

Mat 16:25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for My sake, you will save it.

M.A.D

Dear Church,

I hope you were as touched and inspired as I was last Sunday watching the video clip of Dick Hoyt's dedication and love for his son. Err….I cried. Don’t laugh… many of you cried as well.

Instead of surrendering to the hopelessness of the human condition, the father and son pair were able to turn their circumstances around to touch and inspired many lives all around the world…including mine and yours.

If you examine the lapel of your DNA make-up, you will find the words 'Made in Heaven'. Furthermore you might discover some instructions telling you that you are 'Created to Touch Lives'.

Jesus affirmed it when He commanded us to touch lives just before He ascended into heaven.

Mat 28:18-20 Jesus came and told His disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. (19) Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations (or touch lives for me everywhere- Ron Hee’s interpretation), baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. (20) Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Just last week a new sister in Christ told me that my prayers for her made a difference in her business as well as in her relationship with her husband. That amazed and humbled me to think that a simple prayer offered in love can make such a difference.

I do not even remember the full name of the Hong Kong lady missionary (I only knew her as Madam Chan) who touched my life because she was daring enough to start a church in my town which was hitherto filled with hostile idol worshippers who are often her persecutors.

Hopefully, I in turn, am touching other lives and when I get to heaven, I hope someone will say, ‘I was a life that was changed (From ‘Thank you for giving to the Lord’ by Ray Boltz) and touched by God because of you.'

I borrowed the acronym M.A.D. (Make A Difference) from one of our church brothers, Jack Tan who last month, cycled 480km from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Trengganu for charity to three organisations with New Life being one of the beneficiaries. We benefited an average of RM50 for every kilometer he cycled. Not bad, eh? Our brother has caught the spirit of making a difference and touching lives.

Folks, you too are making a difference if we persevere with the spirit of love for one another and help each other grow in the Lord. Your presence, your commitment and your dedication make a difference to God’s work in building His glorious church.

Your giving is making a difference to many nations and your prayers are transforming our nation. The results of the last election did not just happened. It happened because you and I have been praying for the last seven years.

Folks, let us determine that our lives here on earth will not be lived for ourselves but like the Hoyts, let us touch lives and make a difference with our words (power of life and death), our deeds (acts of faith), our prayers (supernatural grace that can move mountains), our hospitality and friendship (‘only love can make a miracle’) and our giving (the key to an overflowing barn) etc.

Stop right now and ask God to use your life to make a difference and touch lives.

Healing Anointing on New Life

Two weeks ago, we were connected with Rodney Kirkpatrick from Durban, South Africa and he ministered to our full time staff and pastors on Tuesday morning. His prophetic word of knowledge was excitedly accurate as he pointed and prophesied on every staff present. I am sharing mine here because I believe this word is not just for me but for the New Life church in P.J.:

"I thank you for Ron, for his heart of compassion; for his shepherding gift; for giving him the grace and portion to preside over a real healing anointing in and through this place in the days ahead. Ron, I just hear the Lord saying that there are people healed that are here but the Lord is going to begin to bring to this place people who need healing especially in their hearts. I hear the Lord saying this place will be known as a place for binding up the broken hearts in the days ahead. God says one of the things that He is requiring of you is to teach and to emphasize is transparency. The church has become too religious and we are not willing to get the bad out so that it can be dealt with but I hear the Lord saying to you that if you teach the people that they need to be transparent; the things that are keeping the hurt from being healed will come forward; will get out of the way; and God will make this place a real flame of fire for His healing presence; a real place of refuge in increasing measure and in increasing degree in the days ahead."

Enraptured in God's Presence

I praise God for a wonderful worship experience this morning.

I am so thankful to the Lord for my prayer group that meets with me daily from 11am to 12.30pm or thereabouts when we worshipped and pray for the needs of the church or the nation.

This morning was one of those wonderful times when were so caught up and enraptured in God's presence that we felt we could go on worshipping the Lord Jesus forever.

Those who have experienced it would never complain that there is nothing to do except

to worship the Lord when we get to heaven.

And to think that we had just a mild taste of it compared to actually being in God's presence around His throne.

We started with an old song 'Ah Lord God' which seemed so inappropriate at that time but from then on we seemed to tap into God's wave which led us into the depth of the Lord's presence.

Pastor Patrick's worship anointing with the guitar is God-send.

The Bible said that we enter into heaven's gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.

Pastor Lily explained that the Lord showed her that the gates of heaven were truly opened to us as we worshipped and that the blessings of heaven were ours to possess.

No wonder 'Worship-Intercession' is so effective.

Sis May felt that we were on 'holy ground' and that there were angels all around.

To those who have an ear let them hear. Let us believe and not doubt

No wonder after we ended the time of worship, I was led by to Spirit to bless the different areas of the church- the leaders, the Youth, the Children, the Myanmar ministry, Puchong Church etc

I thank God for this 'Heavenly' encounter.

Key To Answered Prayers

The Key to Intercessory prayer is for God to get us to the place where the well-being of others is more important than your own.

Faith works through love.

The most effective prayer is one that is offered in love and compassion.

When you feel that 'cry in your heart' and not just 'words from your lips', you will have the assurance that God has heard your prayer.

A broken heart prays the most powerful prayer.

Are we willing to be brokened for others?

I recalled an incident that happened when we still had our Myanmar service in Dengkil some years back.

One of the Myanmar brothers came seeking for prayer for a huge goiter on the side of his neck.

When I saw his condition, any ounce of faith that was in me flew out of the window.

No clever sounding prayer was sufficient for the situation and subsequently my prayer was feeble and weak. However I did recall a wave of compassion came over me and all I wanted was for God to touch this man.

Many months later, I was told that this man was asking around for me and I found out that the huge goiter shrivelled up during the night after the prayer and the man received a miracle from the Lord.

That is the power of compassion in our prayers.

Passing Of My Aussie Pastor

Today I watched a dvd of the memorial service for Pastor Richard Holland who passed away at the age of 89.

I loved that man who epitomised for a me a pastor who is tireless in caring for others and believing God for miracles and healing. I am sure I am only one of the many great number of his spiritual children/grandchildren in Malaysia and other parts of Asia who remember him fondly and affectionately because of the powerful impact he has on our faith.Many loved him and will continue his legacy of persistent, genuine faith and sincere love for people all over the world. He truly is my spiritual father and hero.

I will miss him dearly.

Doing Church with a Purpose

I have been preaching to the church on a series called 'Learning How to Hear God's Voice' and I felt good about how it turned out.

Yesterday was the last one in the series and I do feel a sense of accomplishment.

There was a distinct leading of the Holy Spirit in all the 5 messages and that increased my confidence in my delivery. I am totally reliant on the Holy Spirit because our ministry must not be just good preaching but preaching in the power of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders following.

I am also grateful to the Lord for giving us salvations almost every week; whether or not the message was directly evangelistic.

I have been telling the church that our Sunday services are 'public' and 'open' meetings so we must not try to be too religious in our liturgy. I desire New Life to be faithful in carrying out the 'Great Commission' not just conducting services for born-again Christians.

Visitors are often confused by overtly religious actions like speaking in tongues, 'free praise' (where the visitors are often at a lost as to what to do while the christians are merrily singing a new song or praising God) etc. Those who know me will tell you that I love to speak in tongues and being a true worshipper at heart, to spend extended time in praising God in the presence of the Holy Spirit. But there is a time and place for everything.

I have no problems with these activities and I often encourage the church to come out on Wednesday nights where we can speak in tongues, pray and engage in free praise as much as we want to.

We must be purposeful in our meetings.

If every meeting is geared towards christians, where can unbelievers come to Him?.

I am not apologetic for wanting to gear our Sunday services to be non-religious for the sake of those that the Lord is bringing in; our Monday nights for solid Bible teaching; our Wednesday nights for believers to engage in prayer and deeper spiritual activities and our Friday/Saturday(for the Youth) Cell meetings for the church family to fellowship, encourage and pray for one another.
